New head at the CONTI-AIR® Format Center

Since November 1, Stefan Beniĉ has been responsible for the CONTI-AIR® Format Center in Northeim. The 39-year-old electrical engineer and former Bundeswehr officer succeeds Stefan Krauß, who transferred to IT management.

Stefan Beniĉ began his career at ContiTech in 2001 as group manager in the production of coated fabrics and diaphragm materials. He has now taken on responsibility for the Format Center, which is incorporated into the printing blanket production. The center, where CONTI-AIR® printing blankets are cut to any required format and equipped hydraulically and pneumatically with rails, features state-of-the-art technology.

An attractive job for Beniĉ: “The machine arsenal of the Format Center, which is unique in the industry, fascinated me from day one.” The close proximity to the customers was another important reason for him to take on this challenging task. “ContiTech stands for top service. In the future, I would like for my team and myself to be able to respond even quicker to customer requirements."
