Hanover, June 2008. The hostesses' blue outfits at the CONTI-AIR® booth were a real eye catcher. But the outfits were not the only attention grabber. The printing blankets of the "blue" premium brand attracted crowds of visitors to the CONTI-AIR® booth as well. "At the drupa, we again demonstrated that, with the CONTI-AIR® printing blankets, we count among the world's leading companies when it comes to technology," recaps Dr. Thomas Perkovic, head of the Printing Blanket segment at ContiTech Elastomer Coatings. "The drupa has affirmed our strategy, although we really didn't know what to expect ahead of time. We were on uncharted terrain, so to speak, with the new CONTI-AIR® products, above all in the heatset area, but also in the coldset sector. The response was unusually good, and we believe that these new products will be successful on the market."
Examples: With the CONTI-AIR® NEON-TR, based on the innovative Air2 technology, ContiTech is getting more actively involved in heatset printing. And with the new CONTI-AIR® ENTROPIA-TR 2, a highly-developed printing blanket for coldset printing has been marketed that is expected to open up other fields of business here as well.

Appropriately enough, one highlight at the CONTI-AIR® booth was the informational evening which attracted many international visitors and provided a look at the technology of the brand. "It is important that we get across to our existing and potential customers the quality of our products as well as the concepts behind them, as this brings us closer to the customer," according to Perkovic.
"Print to perfection" – the response showed that this motto was very appropriate for the premium brand from ContiTech.
